Smooth FKM Lined Hoses

Earlier, for Viton(R) / FKM lined hoses, we at TVSMobility Polymeric Products Pvt. Ltd. used to propose (especially the larger diameters) a textured (wrapped) finish which would not have the smoothness or the shine of our regular Silicone Hoses.

Now, on customers’ demands, we can in future, even for the bigger diameters, supply these hoses in a smooth / shiny finish, without compromising on the adhesion between the Silicone and the Viton(R) /FKM layers. In fact, the bond continues to be cohesive, much higher than the Industry Requirements of 1200 to 1400 N/m.

TVSMobility Polymeric Products Pvt. Ltd. offers a range of High-Temperature Silicone Hoses lined with Viton (R) or FKM, for resistance to:

• Oil / Diesel / Petrol/ Chemicals
• Oily Recycled Exhaust-Gases
• Other fluids which are not compatible with Silicone and Fluorosilicone

Although the Low-Temperature resistance of FKM is not as good as VMQ/FVMQ, it is still preferred because (a) of better high-temperature resistance (b) superior permeation properties and (c) better abrasion resistance.
