Introducing: Hoses with Kevlar/Aluminium Heat-Shields

Heat-shields applied on Hoses to resist extreme Temperatures (above 250 degrees Celsius/480 Fahrenheit), are traditionally made from Fiberglass/Aluminium material.

For the first time at Shore Auto, we have introduced heat-shields, where the “Fiberglass” is replaced with “Kevlar”.

Advantages of Kevlar:

  • High-strength / Good abrasion-resistance
  • Low-weight
  • Excellent Chemical Properties
  • Non-conductive
  • Low flammability

Drawbacks:

  • Price (It is more expensive than the fiberglass quality).

Note: The new heat-shield covered Hoses are available only on demand.
